I picked up the Sandisk sansa e260(4gb) today at Futureshop. So far i am really impressed with the sound quality, navigation and features. The only thing i dont like is that it goes from artist>album>songs, with the option of play all on albums. I dont like that because my albums are never in order and if you select play all you have to go through a few menus if you want to see a list of all the songs causing it take take slightly longer to find just any song. But i can live with that, and so far i love this little player. i got it for $119 cnd too. regular price at futureshop being $200.

Congrats on your new DAP, Drew. Also, I'm not sure what you are saying regarding playing your music: what are you wanting to see, exactly? The "Play All" option is available for all menu items, except for Genre. You can choose to play all the songs in one album, play all the songs under one artist, or play all the songs you have on your player. That's the way it is for most DAP's....

I guess im really just used to my Dj. But the Play all just seems to slow me down when im trying to find one particular song. I would rather a view all songs. Rather than having to play all than press that button below the scroller and then select back to music list. Ohh well.:D

You can do that, by selecting "Songs" in the Music menu (the same menu that has "Artists", "Albums", "Genres", etc). It will show you the same listing of all the songs on your Sansa, in alphabetical order, that your other method does. The only difference is, you wont be playing a song at the same time. But it takes out 2-3 steps that your method requires.

At least, I think that's what you mean.....
