I really like the silver casing w/ the monochrome screen..I think it's nice than the black x5 besides the color screen part. And the price is great. The only thing I don't like is that they left the "color sound" thing on the left of the screen even though the screen is monochrome. That same stupid banner is on the x5, but the x5 has a color screen. I saw this a couple days ago on DAPreview.

"Color Sound" is their slogan I think. Its been on their players for awhile despite them not releasing a color screen player until the X5.

I think its just as good as the X5 for the simple fact that the screen is too small for the picture and movie viewing to be of any significance, and the $229 - $250 price tag more than makes up for the M5's lack of an extra feature.

Also, Silver casing definately looks better than black IMO.

Agreed that the silver casing looks better than the black. I guess you're right about color sound being their slogan, but I think I've really only seen it say "color sound" on a flash player that has an LED that changes color.
