This player has been out for a while, but I've never heard about it until today, although I'm not sure why, with all the amazing features this thing has(Maybe because it's sorta large and a bit ugly). It has pretty much everything you would ever need, even stuff most people buy extra accessories for, like a built in fm radio transmitter. I'm not sure how this works, but the place I heard about it also says that it can tell you what song is playing on the radio by recording a sample, then checking it with the online database....The nueros audio player (http://www.neurosaudio.com/prod_neuros_main.asp)

i think the features it has are great. but the size and like you said ugliness is probably the turn off.

It seems a little big. Now, if Dell would add those features to the DJ

It's really big, like about 3 by 5 inches. It has a built in fm transmitter. So you can transmit a song on the radio and a friend who has an fm tuner on their DAP can listen to that song. It also can get song info through the radio like you said. The grey part of the player without the big black part has some flash memory and when you connect the big black part, it becomes a HDD player.

If not for the size and look, I'd have totally gone for it. Though it is very handy. It's incredibly cheap, too, if I remember. I may just pick one up anyway, in the future.

I believe its $250 for 20 gig, and $400 for 80 gigs...It looks very rugged, and if you think about it, with the built in fm transmitter, it's not very large at all...

I thought I'd let you guys know that the Nueros II is on sale right now, the 80 gig version being only $299. Granted, it's still pretty large, but still a really great price for people with large music collections.

Yea, it's that bloody backpack that makes the thing so massive. It's still pretty cool, though.
