Here's (http://reviews.cnet.com/Creative_Zen_Sleek_Photo_20GB/4505-6490_7-31549780.html?tag=pdtl-img) a quick look at the Sleek Photo. I figure this will be the player the next gen DJ will be based on, unless they go for video. :)

Old news, I think I posted about this a month ago, but it's cool for your to bring it up, nevertheless :).
Personally, I think this player is not very good. It doesn't look good to me at all (I'll have to see it in person to come to a final statement though) and they seem to be trying what Apple did with their dock connector. But they did it like the 3G's with the split cable thing which is so annoying.

WHY are they pushing this OLED technology!!! They have poor resolution, at least use higher resolution screens... Does have impressive viewing angles how ever.

Everyone used to rave on about how much better OLED was than LCD, can't see it myself.....

well, its "organic".. Sony uses it on some players, and they can also make it appear transparent when its off, so it looks cool, i dont think they can do it with these ones however.

When i heard about OLED it sounded like a cool idea. Basically the different between OLED and and LCD is like taking a flash light with colored film over it, compared to a colored lightbulb. With the LCD, more power is needed because 2 things are consuming the power: the light and the colors. With OLED, the screen can always stay bright through with only one thing needing power because the light is colored.
But now that I see the Zen player's I dont care about this OLED stuff anymore. Maybe it's not that OLED screens have low resolution, maybe it's just the Zen micro/sleek have crappy resolution and would look bad with LCD also. I dont know really.

yea, its cool technology, and it is paper thin, but until they start using higher resolutions It isnt looking to good.
