There better be a 30+ model; and only wma and mp3 WTF? If I want to maximize my listening pleasure by listening in .wav that should be my perogative, this is a slight let down!

It could be the low end of a product line.
I'll keep my feelings in check until the final and official announcement. Still I hope that 15 Gigs is not the biggest harddrive they offer.

As long as the price is low, i think 15 gigs is fine. Im sure dell will reliese a higher-end model. :D

You'd better hope so. Whats the point of a hard drive mp3 player if it only holds a 15 gigs. I store 30 gigs of music on my iPod and store files and photos on the rest. With 15 gigs it gives you no room to do anything. The price better be really low, because most hard drive mp3 players have much more space than this. Talk about comming in on the low end.

I disagree, I wish they would release a 5 gig hard drive based MP3 player. No one has done that since the old iPods. I have exactly 2.12 gigs of music (2,286,129,152 bytes actually) and don't need all the space in a 15 or 30 or 60 gig MP3 player.

The reason is that there are no more 5 gig drives anymore. Thats why Apple stopped. Anyway, the cost/gig of space is too high on the smaller drives. You get more for your money on the higher ones.

Maybe your problem is you need more music. ;)

I don't download music illegally, and I don't have the money to buy alot of CDs. 2 gigs is all my CD's ripped to the computer.

Believe me, if you new me over at Aximsite, you'd know neither do I. My music ripped is over 40 gigs, but I have quite a collection. I also have much that I have downloaded on iTunes.

I for one can't wait to take a look at the new Dj. Comparing the ipod to Dj is like comparing apples to oranges. I just want something to play music and audio books on. I have my Axim to store video and pictures and Ebooks. The Dj will clean my Axim of the audio. I think the Dj will rock socks!!!!!
