yeah, that does look nice, but it better be as soft as a goose's ass on the inside, or it will scratch the ZVM (unless you got it BSE'd up!!).
hmmmm....
Comfortable, workout-ready armband fits any arm size from toothpick to python
mabey it's not that great.....doesn't sound like the band will fit my GUNS!!!

Cool...nice to know a company that makes a lot of cases for the iPod and that also made cases for the DJ is making cases for the ZVM as well.

Has any one purchased the dlo jam jacket for the zvm? I bought the action jacket and think it's crap. It does not fit correctly, making it difficult to use the skip track button. It was difficult to get it on and even more difficult to to tak e it off. If I did not have the BSE on, my player would surly have been scratched.

I havent, but it seems like a trim little case.

I've read some other posts from people who bought the DLO action jacket, and they also say that it can scratch the ZVM. And when thet have the BSE or IS on the ZVM, the clear plastic cover on the front adheres to it, making it very difficult to get the case off the ZVM...
this is unfortunate, but IMO this is all due to the fact that the ZVM has such a soft, scratchable plastic face. I have the DLO A/J's for both my Pocket DJ and my Sansa e260, neither of which needs a protective skin. The A/J's for them are solid little jackets, are VERY durable, and have a great quality to them. The one's I have both have plastic covers on the front, and while they have a snug fit, are still easy to take off of my DJ and Sansa, because those DAP's don't need any skins.....

Once you have a BSE or IS, do you really need a case? Because cases are really only used for two reasons: protection and appearance. The BSE/IS protects it from scratches, all you have to do is not be stupid and either drop it or throw it across a room. And isn't the ZVM sexy anyways?
I bought the leather case for my 1st Gen DJ. I used it once. The DJ never got scratched, and all it did was hide my DJ from the world. And it only made it harder to use the controls. So I really don't understand the point of a case for an mp3 player. Especially with people who buy an iPod because they like the way it looks. And then they have to buy a case to protect its appearance. But now the case is hiding the appearance. So was it worth buying for the sexiness?

well, the DLO ACTION JACKET is intended for physical activities, I believe, rather than for showcasing the ZVM, or any device for that matter. If one chose to run or exercise with it, I imagine that having it fall out of a pocket or out of your hands could cause damage to it, depending on what it landed on. The A/J is supposed to prevent that, to a degree......
But you're right, I got both the Kroo leather case and Kroo silicon case for my ZVM, and I personally like the silicon case, if I have to use a case at all (I don't use it for running). The silicon case is slick and not bulky at all...it's a flat black, and it hides the blue glow of the buttons, which sucks, but it's good for carrying around.
It has a kick-stand for watching videos without tiring your hand out, and does provide a minimum protection for the metal back (the back is very scratch resistant, but it still can scratch)...
Lol...a kickstand...
The Jam Jacket looks nice. I wonder if it comes in black.
Oh, and when I tried to add a Jam Jacket to my Cart on the DLO site to see what the price was, it added about 10 Jam Jackets, 10 Action Jackets, and a Zen Micro Jam Jacket to my cart. The subtotal was over $1000.

Then I LOL'd!

I agree the action jacket is a very durable case. But as someone else had said, the action jacket does not show off the sleek and sexyness of the zvm. I plan on picking up girls with it!
I am also quite accident prone. I am surpirsed that my dell pocket dj is still working (for the most part). I have a cracked screen and a few dents in the back. The girlfriend also threw it (she is lucky it survived). With the BSE, do you think a silicone case would be difficult to put on? I am also wondering what the top portion of the silicon case looks like. I do not like the action jacket's top portion as it covers the on off button. I just wish there was more after market products for the zvm.

I got an Action Jacket with my black Ipod this year (part of a gift). The circle of stitching that holds the clickwheel protector on did scratch the front. I don't think the neophrene scratched anything. I gave it away. It's a pretty basic case, nothing great about it at all.

I got the action jacket because it really helps if you drop the zen alot. It doesn't really show it off though and it does scratch the screen.
